Design and layout for The Bright Press / Quarto Group
Designed as an accessory item for a book about the principal elements of the periodic table, this two-sided, three-layered wheel rotates to reveal which elements were discovered during four distinct time periods. Side one (shown above) also indicates the group each elements belongs in using colour coding.
Side two of the wheel provides the reader with detailed information about each of the elements featured in the book.
Removing the outer wheel in the above visual reveals how the wheel (including the colour coding for element groups) will work as the wheel is rotated.
